The CLARITY Mission

Clarity’s sole aim is to provide opportunities for blind and disabled people to play a full part in society. At present, it is often impossible for disabled people, especially those with moderate to severe disabilities, to find meaningful employment.

Clarity provides this employment in a range of factory and office based positions throughout the UK. The specialist workplace and “Skills for Life” training programmes we run allow our employees to progress within our organisation and gives them the skills and confidence to move into open industry should they so wish. Welfare and support services are also on hand to deal with everyday issues outside the working environment. Clarity also provides accommodation for a number of current and retired employees.

Clarity - a charity with a difference!

Unlike most charities we do not accept donations. Our funds are raised by our supporters purchasing the products that are made by our blind and disabled workers. We couldn't survive without our supporters but we hope that in return for their generosity they get top quality toiletries or cleaning products that they'd be proud to use themselves or to give as gifts.

This is the "Clarity Balance" - the balance between charitable giving and buying great products. Whether you are one of our wonderful current supporters or an interested newcomer we welcome you all. BUT you have a choice to make.......where to look first?
